What began by helping one vulnerable child return to school and supporting one woman with seed capital in Eastern DRC has grown into an organization that connects vulnerable children’s education and women’s empowerment. Stichting Watoto Welfare is a Netherlands-registered civil society organization with KVK No. 91282497 and ANBI No. 865604538. We work in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo to help vulnerable children access and remain in school while strengthening the economic resilience of their families.
Guided by our principle, “Learn, Do, and Earn,” we believe lasting change begins with education, dignity, and opportunity. We equip youth and women with practical skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and access to finance so they can build sustainable livelihoods, reduce dependency on aid, and strengthen their communities.
